Dave, Vicky and Allyson walk to school

One morning before school, Allyson entered the kitchen of the Nelson House, where her mother was cooking and her father was attempting to catch rats, in order to finish off some homework. While there, she asked her mother if she had invited Laurie to the celebration dinner for Allyson's getting into the honor society. Karen exclaimed that she had but that Laurie had refused to go. This annoyed Allyson and she quickly left for school with both Vicky and Dave. On the way, Allyson confided in her friends about her mother lying and purposely excluding her grandmother from a family celebration. This lead into a discussion about the night of trauma Laurie suffered at the hands of Michael Myers in 1978 and after saying something out of place, Dave quickly changes the subject to blowing up a nearby pumpkin head, the three running off excitedly.

Once at school, Allyson quickly retrieved her things from her locker in preparation for class before her boyfriend, Cameron, playfully jumped out and scared her. He asked if she had her costume prepared for the school dance the next night only for her to make sure that he was prepared for meeting her family that night before Cameron's best friend, Oscar, came and interrupted the conversation. Cameron then revealed to him that he was dressing up with Allyson instead, causing Oscar to playfully grab him and pull him away as Allyson prepared to head to class. After sitting down for the lesson, Allyson absentmindedly looked out of a nearby window to see her grandmother watching her from across the street. However, she paid little attention and simply went back to the lesson.

Afterwards, she managed to catch up with Laurie near the school football pitch and was subsequently offered money that Laurie had previously received from Dana Haines and Aaron Korey. At first, Allyson rejected the offer but after persistence from her grandmother, she accepted it and decided to save it for college. However, Laurie insisted she forget college and get away from Haddonfield, also instructing her to not worry about her mother's reaction when Laurie showed up to the celebration dinner unannounced, stating that she would eventually get over it. Before she could leave, Allyson quickly asked Laurie why she couldn't get over Michael Myers' attack as it had cost her her entire life. Laurie confessed that if Karen was prepared for the horrors of the world, she could live with Karen hating her before telling Allyson that she was ready to say goodbye to Michael.

That night, Allyson and Cameron sat down to have dinner with Allyson's parents in order to celebrate Allyson's academic achievement and getting into the honor society. The four joked about Ray's friendship with Cameron's troubled father, Lonnie Elam, before the conversation turned to the school dance the next night. Ray and Karen asked what the pair were planning to dress up as and they revealed that their costumes were inspired by Bonnie and Clyde but with a twist. As Ray and Cameron began having their discussion, Allyson asked her mother once again if she had spoken with Laurie about attending the dinner, Karen exclaiming that she had and that she said she would come. Just then, Laurie abruptly entered the restaurant and apologised for being late.

She quickly met Cameron for the first time and asked Allyson how her school event went, Allyson showing her yellow sash. However, Laurie began to slowly break down and sat at the table crying, stating that she had seen "The Shape" earlier that night. Both Ray and Karen told her to calm down as she was ruining Allyson's dinner but she couldn't. Allyson sympathised with her and held her hand as she explained her trauma. Eventually, she left the table and ran outside to the street, staring off into the distance. Allyson followed suit, holding her grandmother as she broke down. After calming down, Laurie was helped into her truck by Ray and Cameron as Allyson spoke with her mother about Laurie's troubled past.

School Dance

The next night, at the school Halloween dance, Allyson attended with both Cameron and Oscar, wearing a Clyde costume whilst Cameron was dressed as Bonnie. Oscar took pictures of the two outside the dance before the three of them entered the dance together. In the middle of them dancing, Allyson received a call from Vicky, who was stuck babysitting Julian Morrisey. Cameron initially attempted to stop her from answering it but she insisted that she would be back soon. After picking up, Allyson was greeted by Vicky on the other end who asked how the event was going. Allyson explained everything was going well before she started receiving another call from Laurie. Deciding to decline it, Allyson spoke again with Vicky who insisted that she and Cameron go to the Morrisey house after the dance to do some "alakazam" with her and Dave. Allyson accepted but explained that it was a school night and that they wouldn't "kazam too much" before saying goodbye and going back to the dance.

When she returned to the dance, Allyson looked around for Cameron only to find Oscar drunk and dancing with a group of girls. She then noticed a girl named Kim talking with Cameron, eventually leading the two to share a kiss with each other. Allyson became extremely stressed and ran to the snack area where Cameron followed her. He quickly tried to calm her down but was too drunk to do so and didn't know what to say to defend himself. As Allyson was about to finally leave, she received another call from Laurie only for Cameron to grab her phone and throw it into a nearby bowl of nacho cheese out of anger. Allyson didn't even know what to say to him and simply walked away, effectively ending their relationship.

Encounter with Michael

After her ordeal with Cameron, Allyson swiftly left the dance and planned to walk to the Morrisey House to meet Vicky and Dave before being accompanied by Oscar, who wanted to comfort her. The two walked down an empty street before Oscar recommended they take a shortcut through a nearby yard. After successfully making it over a wall, the two congratulated each other. However, the conversation took a turn when Oscar leaned in for a kiss and Allyson aggressively pushed him away, stating that she didn't like him in a romantic sense. Angry, she walked away and jumped the fence, walking in the opposite direction as Oscar called out for her to come back and allow him to explain. He then began screaming and panicking for help after being ambushed by an escaped Michael Myers, however, Allyson simply ignored him and assumed he was just trying to get her to come back. After a while, she eventually ran back to check up on him only to discover his hanging corpse on the fence.

After a few seconds of staring in shock at the sight before her, Allyson began screaming for help as she saw Michael slowly emerge from the shadows behind Oscar. She quickly ran away from the scene and down the nearby street, knocking on various doors in an attempt to get someone to help her. Eventually, residents of a nearby home allowed Allyson in and attempted to comfort her and calm her down before calling Officer Frank Hawkins. After he arrived alongside Michael's doctor, Ranbir Sartain, Allyson tried to explain what had happened to Oscar and Hawkins attempted to comfort her with a hug. He then explained that he would take her back to her mother and grandmother and she entered the police car with both Hawkins and Sartain.

Driving around the neighbourhood in a police car, Allyson, Hawkins and Sartain all kept their eyes out for any sign of Michael. After spotting him slowly walking down a nearby street, Allyson warned Hawkins and he quickly drove the police car straight into the killer, knocking him unconscious. Hawkins and Sartain both got out to check if Michael was still breathing, leaving Allyson alone in the car. She then witnessed Sartain stab Hawkins several times in the neck after the two argued about what to do with Michael. Worrying for her own life, she attempted to find a way out of the locked car before the sadistic Sartain began showing his true colours and dragged Michael's unconscious body into the seat next to her. The doctor began exclaiming his excitement for Michael's reunion with Laurie and proceeded to sit in the drivers seat, with both Allyson and Michael in tow, and make way for Laurie's house.

Michael watches Allyson escape

Allyson manages to escape Michael's clutches.

Just a few miles down the road from Laurie's home, Allyson managed to convince Sartain to stop the car as she had heard Michael speak, something he had been attempting for several years. She explained that she would only tell him the one word Michael spoke if he let her go but he continued asking, suggesting it was his Michael's sister's name. After Sartain said "Judith", Michael aggressively woke up and smashed the bars of the car into Sartain's back, crushing him against the wheel and causing Allyson to let out a cry for help. After Michael dragged the doctor out onto the road, Allyson noticed a hole in the bars and managed to quietly squeeze through, successfully making it out of the police car and running for her life into the nearby woods. After running for sometime, she eventually made it to Laurie's backyard where she discovered the countless headless mannequins used by Laurie as training, startling her and causing her to scream out in fear.

Karen and Allyson listen out for Michael

Allyson and Karen hide from Michael.

By the time Allyson had managed to enter the house, both Karen and Laurie had already engaged in a fight with Michael. Immediately, Allyson spotted a large amount of blood on the banister and called out for her mother and grandmother, unknowingly alerting Michael to her location. Just then, Karen quickly emerged from the hidden kitchen island bunker and called Allyson down, swiftly closing it up again behind them. The two held each other in fear as Michael slowly surveyed the rooms above, searching for them. Eventually, he came to the kitchen island and began shaking it, trying to completely rip it off of the hinges. Karen instructed Allyson to get behind her and grabbed a nearby gun, holding it up to the basement entrance. After the island was thrown to the side, Karen called out to Michael and pretending to cry, eventually luring him out and giving him the chance to shoot him in the face, Allyson watching on in horror.

After Laurie reappeared and managed to throw Michael down the basement stairs, she called out to Allyson and Karen to rush out, Allyson going first and reaching the top. However, Karen's leg was abruptly grabbed by Michael and Laurie and Allyson both held onto her as he attempted to drag her back down to her death. Eventually, Allyson managed to spot Michael's knife that he had dropped previously and quickly grabbed it, first slashing his wrist and then stabbing him in the hand, resulting in Karen breaking free and kicking him back down into the basement. Before he could walk back up, Karen swiftly pulled a lever that caused bars to lock the basement shut, trapping him. Laurie then set off blowtorches throughout the house and dropped a flare into the basement, causing it to catch flame and setting off the slow destruction of her home. Allyson and Karen then both held Laurie up to help her walk with injuries and made it out of the house. Allyson then quickly flagged down a passing vehicle and the three women were brought to safety, holding each other close and Allyson still held tightly onto the bloody knife.[1]

Hunting Michael

After desperately holding onto Laurie's stomach to stop the bleeding, Allyson finally arrived at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital alongside her and Karen, being approached by a doctor who recommended she should have a nurse look at her, to which Allyson assured him that she was fine and that the blood on her hands was not hers. Allyson sat on a staircase as Laurie was operated on and Karen soon arrived to inform her that Laurie would recover, the two sharing an embrace as Allyson tearfully exclaimed that her father was gone. Allyson later went into Laurie's room while the latter was sleeping and being watched over by Karen before going outside, where she recognized an unconscious Hawkins as he was being lifted down the hallway, also spotting Sartain's corpse in the morgue.

While in her daze, Deputy Graham approached Allyson to ask her a few questions and the pair went to another room, where Allyson admitted that she was told she could never acknowledge the tragedy of the 1978 Halloween murders and that it was as though her mother feared that her grandmother was correct about "the Boogeyman" being real. When asked by Graham of how Michael knew where Laurie lived, Allyson explained it was Sartain's obsession to see the pair together again and that he drove Michael to her. While still glad he was gone, Allyson angrily screamed at the revelation that Michael had in fact escaped the fire and was still on the loose. Storming out into the hallway, she ran into Cameron, who informed her that he, his father, and Tommy Doyle were all planning on rallying a mob together to hunt Myers down, to which she welcome to join. Gladdened by the news, the two embraced before Karen suddenly approached them and began disagreeing with Allyson about letting her go.

Allyson and Cameron argued that Michael had destroyed their lives enough and that he had to die once and for all, with Karen seeming to consider while many injured patients were wheeled past the three. However, Karen exclaimed how strong Michael was to have survived everything they had thrown at him, making it unrealistic for her and some townspeople to take him down themselves, intent on leaving it up to the police before finally yelling at Allyson to sit with Laurie in her room, which she does. As Karen argued with nearby employees for more security, Allyson watched over her grandmother, leaving her knife beside her for protection and kissing her on the forehead before sneaking out of the hospital. Outside, she met up with Cameron, Lonnie, Tommy, Lindsey Wallace, Marion Chambers, Vanessa, and Marcus, before grabbing a shotgun out of the back of Lonnie's car, swearing to hunt Michael Myers down and finally put a stop to his massacre.

While surveying the streets of Haddonfield, Allyson sat in the back of Lonnie's car and asked about his friendship with her father, leading him to reminisce on humorous stories of drug use and mischief, causing Allyson to smile but eventually cry due to the realisation of having lost her father. Just then, Cameron pointed out Lindsey's car off on the side of the road being investigated by Tommy, leading the three to run over to investigate what had happened. They discovered the vehicle to be empty but covered in blood, with Tommy ordering the group to spread out and look for any sign of Lindsey, Marion, Marcus or Vanessa. After some searching and discovering the corpses of Marion, Marcus, and Vanessa, Allyson eventually discovered a very much alive Lindsey panicking in a nearby riverbank, quickly alerting the others. They took Lindsey back to Tommy's car and stayed by her side as she calmed down before Tommy eventually took her to Haddonfield Memorial to have her wounds treated.

Allyson and Cameron search the Myers House

Allyson and Cameron search the Myers House.

Regrouping with Lonnie and Cameron, the three figured out Michael's true destination, analysing a map that tracked each of his victims that night, all pointing in the direction of the Myers House, Michael's childhood home. Upon pulling up to the abandoned house, Allyson suggested that they all stick together, only for Lonnie to insist that he go in by himself. After some disagreements, Allyson and Cameron reluctantly watched Lonnie enter the house from across the street. However, after they hear a gunshot, the pair immediately grabbed their weapons and ran into the building, surveying the first floor. Upon hearing some noises from a nearby cupboard, Allyson accidently shot a pumpkin within, being startled by Cameron. After they began hearing footsteps from upstairs, the pair slowly ascended together, coming across the brutalised corpses of the house's current residents, Big John and Little John.

Allyson fends Michael off

While Allyson investigated the corpses, taking a knife from the body in the process, Cameron continued to look around the landing, discovering the corpse of his father and being attacked by an angry Michael. Alerted by his screams, Allyson ran out of the room and attempted to shoot Michael, only for him to grab the barrel, and quickly dispose of the weapon. Still holding the knife, Allyson swiftly stabbed him in the stomach several times, to no effect, and was grabbed by the hair, staring into Michael's empty eyes before having her head bashed against the stair railing and being thrown down the stairs, injuring her leg in the process. Grabbing the nearby knife, Allyson was forced to watch on as Michael brutally impaled and snapped Cameron's neck before slowly descending the stairs toward her. Preparing herself, she took a swing at the imposing killer, only for him to grab her wrist and force her to the ground.

Karen sits with Allyson

Allyson is comforted by Karen after the events of Michael's massacre.

Having the knife held to her chest, Allyson screamed at him to do it before Karen suddenly appeared and stabbed Michael in the back with a pitchfork, rendering him unresponsive on the stairs. Allyson then watched on as her mother stole Michael's mask and ran outside, screaming at him to come after her instead. As Michael rose from the floor and began slowly walking toward her, Karen began running through the streets of Haddonfield, with Allyson screaming for her to stop. Unbeknownst to Michael, Karen led him toward a trap and paramedics soon arrived on the scene of the Myers House, treating Allyson's wounds. Karen soon returned, unaware of Michael's continued rampage and their failed plan. She hugged Allyson tightly on the porch of the house, the two traumatised from the events of night. Allyson then watched as Karen ascended the stairs of the house, unaware that Michael would return and stab her to death.[2]
