Ben Tramer is a former student of Haddonfield High School, which he attended during the 1970s, and the teenage crush of Laurie Strode.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Bennett Samuel "Ben" Tramer was born on June 20, 1961 in the town of Haddonfield, Illinois to Carl and Bonnie Tramer. He attended Haddonfield High School in the mid to late 1970s where he became friends with fellow students Bob Simms, Paul Freedman, Dick Baxter, Steve Todd and Devon Graham and also knew and was well-acquainted with local Sheriff's Deputy and police officer Frank Hawkins.
October 1978[]
During his senior year in October 1978, Ben found out that fellow female student Laurie Strode had a crush on him and told her friend Annie Brackett to make her his date for prom night. Later on, Ben presumably went trick-or-treating for Halloween until he found out that a masked killer had killed Annie, Bob and Bob's girlfriend Lynda Van der Klok and that Laurie had survived his attack.
Aftermath of 1978[]
After graduating from high school sometime in 1979, Ben became the owner of a local used car dealership in Haddonfield and had a son named Robert with an unnamed woman sometime in 1982. Robert then also attended Haddonfield High School in the 1990s where he became the star linebacker for the Haddonfield High Football team before he met and married a woman named Erin in 2004 and moved to Buffalo with her where they had a son named Terry who was born in 2005 to them. In 2008 however, Robert divorced Erin and moved back to Haddonfield with Terry where he then took over the used car dealership from Ben due to the latter's retirement or death.
Personality[]
In high school, it is said in conversations between Laurie and Annie that Ben is a really handsome and good-looking student with an extroverted nature of speaking to others and is also implied to be a bit mischievous when Annie mentions to Laurie that he agreed to be her prom date.
Due to his grandson Terry being a bully because of physical and verbal abuse from his father and Ben's son Robert, it can be implied that Ben likely abused his son physically and verbally much like Robert does to Terry, showing that he has a short temper as well.
