The "Halloween Saga" is the name given to the saga of movies that focuses on the intense battle between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. It is also the fifth timeline in the Halloween franchise and the only one that changes the relationship between Michael and Laurie. From Halloween II (1981) onward, the two were written as siblings, however, since the events of Halloween II no longer exists in this timeline, they are no longer siblings.[1]

Films[]

Halloween (1978)[]

On Halloween night in 1963, teenager Judith Myers is murdered by her young brother, Michael Myers and he is admitted to a mental hospital until he turns 21. On Halloween night in 1978, bookish teenager, Laurie Strode, babysits young Tommy Doyle and Lindsey Wallace just as Michael escapes and he ends up butchering Laurie's friends, Annie Brackett, Lynda Van der Klok and Bob Simms before he is finally stopped by his psychiatrist, Dr. Sam Loomis.

Halloween (2018)[]

Forty years after the events in 1978, Laurie Strode has grown into a ruthless and PTSD-ridden older woman who is prepared for Michael Myers' escape at any cost, including becoming estranged from her own daughter, Karen. After Michael finally escapes once again, the two have a final showdown that also puts Karen and Laurie's granddaughter, Allyson, in danger. However, she manages to come out on top and burns Michael alive underneath her own home.

Halloween Kills[]

Minutes later, now on November 1, 2018, Laurie Strode and her family work with new and old allies to form a mob against Michael Myers, who is still loose in Haddonfield.

Halloween Ends[]

Four years after the events of Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham, is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
