"As she sat combing her hair, unaware, her 6-year-old brother crept in quietly with a kitchen knife."
"He then proceeded to slice the base of her skull, scraping her spinal cord. When she turned, raising her hands in self-defense, he continued stabbing into the nerves and arteries of her palms. Three more stabs into her sternum, penetrating her heart.

Judith Myers (November 10, 1947 – October 31, 1963) was the sister of the deranged serial killer, Michael Myers, as well as his first ever victim.

Biography

Early Life

Judith was born on November 10, 1947 to Peter Myers and Edith Myers. Eight years later, her younger brother, Michael, was born and, presumably, the two weren't that close. At some point during her teen years, Judith began dating an unnamed boy.

Death

Judith yells as Michael

Judith yells at Michael to leave her room.

On October 31, 1963, Judith invited her boyfriend over to her house and the two made out in the living room before going upstairs to sleep together. Once they were finished, her boyfriend left the house as Judith sat at her dressing table, brushing her hair and not noticing her brother, holding a kitchen knife, sneaking in behind her. When she spotted him, she yelled at him to leave but he only got closer and began stabbing her in the chest and back until she fell onto her floor, dead.

Judith's body was later discovered by her parents and Michael was sent to Smith's Grove Sanitarium for his mental illness.[1]

Legacy

Myers Legend

Judith's murder became a scary story to tell during Halloween night in the town of Haddonfield. Many kids in the neighbourhood avoided the house and spread rumours that it was haunted.[1]

1978 Massacre

Annie's corpse

On Halloween night in 1978, Michael escaped from Smith's Grove and returned home to Haddonfield in order to prey on more innocent teenagers. He also stole Judith's headstone from her grave site and later, after murdering Annie Brackett, he placed the headstone above her corpse in order to mimic Judith's death. The headstone was later presumably recovered by the Sheriff's department and rightfully returned to the graveyard.[1]

Myers Documentary

In 2018, forty years after the 1978 incident, investigative journalists Dana Haines and Aaron Korey began creating a documentary about Michael and paid a visit to Judith's grave. They stopped and recalled the events of that fateful night in 1963, all while being stalked by Michael from across the graveyard. The documentary was never finished as Dana and Aaron ended up becoming victims of Michael themselves.[2]

Personality

Not much is known about Judith's personality due to her short amount of time on screen. However, during her time with her boyfriend, she is seen to be very fun and care-free with him, daring to sleep with him upstairs even though her parents could've been home at any minute.
